Most popular team building event in SA. Teams have to act in front of a Green Screen without knowing why. The video is then edited in the Amazing Race and shown after lunch - hilarious.
MasterChef Potjiekos or Braai Master Competition Cook Off
Each team get a Mystery Box with a potjiepot and gas bottle (or brand new Braai stand that they have to build), fire matches, chef hats, aprons, and utensils. Mystery Boxes also may include herbs, spices, sauces, plastic chrome cutlery and Crockery etc, and teams have to “trade” or “swop” these goodies to prepare and master their potjie pot. Meat include Beef, Lamb, and Chicken (all meat is halaal, ask for butcher’s receipt). - We use gas potjies, and can move indoors if it rains. This Potjie Competition takes place in the middle of the Venue. Teams have to cook a potjie that represents a country. In terms of the Braai Master, teams also have to represent a country however by building a platter.
